A shipment plan starts from the installation schedule, not from the motor list: whichever machine is installed in a given week, its motor goes into that batch. Each batch is then split into parcel or palletised freight according to weight and packaging, and the receiving capacity at the delivery point is clarified.

Build batches in installation order
Taking all the motors at once creates storage, moisture and impact risks, while a single late motor can hold up the whole line. So split the list into groups such as “first machines to install”, “intermediate stage” and “before commissioning”. Give each line a project tag (e.g. line and position number); if this tag also appears on the delivery note and on the package, the motor will not end up at the wrong machine on site.
Weight determines the transport method
| Group | Typical transport | Needed at receipt |
|---|---|---|
| Small-frame motors | Parcel carrier | Manual handling, dry storage |
| Medium and large frames | Palletised freight | Forklift or pallet truck |
| Heaviest motors | Palletised freight, separate vehicle planning | Crane, lifting point, level ground |
Freight is not included in the motor price; it is set according to weight, package size and delivery location and confirmed in writing before payment. You can work with your own carrier or collect the motors from the DRG warehouse in Buca, Izmir, by appointment; in that case no freight charge arises.
How do you pin down the dates?
The estimated dispatch and delivery date is given in the order confirmation. Enter these dates in your project plan and follow each batch with a separate confirmation. If delivery cannot be made within the stated period, the buyer is informed and may have the payment refunded if they wish; for critical machines it is useful to keep the plan flexible for this possibility.
At the moment of delivery
If you see damage on packages or pallets, have the carrier draw up a report before accepting delivery and notify DRG without delay. Compare the nameplate of each delivered motor with the order line and record the serial numbers in the project list. Details are on the delivery and shipping terms page; for questions, the number +90 (542) 666 11 11 or the WhatsApp line can be used.
When building your batch list, you can review models by power and frame in the three-phase motor store and, in the heavy class, on product pages such as the 45 kW 225M cast iron model.
