Construction and Components

  • Stator: 100% pure electrolytic copper winding, vacuum-impregnated insulation
  • Rotor: squirrel-cage type
  • Body: cast iron (GG20) – vibration-damping, high strength
  • Fan: aerodynamic cooling fan, optimised blades
  • Bearings: SKF / C&U / NSK – high-temperature, long life
  • End covers: cast iron, centred on the shaft bearing for balance

Efficiency Classes and Energy Savings

DRG produces all three-phase series in IE3, IE4 and IE5 levels. In Turkey and Europe, IE3 is the minimum requirement above 0.75 kW; all motors comply with the Ecodesign regulation.
