Because shipping varies widely with the motor's weight, package size and destination, it is not included in the list price; the buyer pays it. The amount is calculated separately for each order and confirmed to you in writing before payment is made.

Why is there no single flat rate?
The DRG range extends from a small 0.25 kW aluminium motor to a 355 kW cast iron motor. The smallest model can go as a parcel in a single box, while large frames are strapped to a pallet and moved by a freight carrier. Adding the same shipping share to every model would either make the buyer of a small motor overpay or fail to cover the cost of a heavy motor sent to a distant destination. Also, since buyers can use their own haulier or collect from the warehouse, building the charge into the price would not be fair.
Information used in the calculation
| Factor | What does it change? |
|---|---|
| Weight | Whether a parcel service or palletised freight is used |
| Package size | Volume-based charge and vehicle type |
| Destination and address | Distance, transhipment and door delivery |
| Quantity | Single box, several boxes or a consolidated pallet |
Ways to reduce shipping
- Combining motors going to the same address in a single order
- Using a haulier you already work with in your area
- If you are close to Izmir, collecting by appointment from the Buca warehouse; in that case there is no shipping charge
What should you state before ordering?
If you specify the delivery district, whether you want door delivery or collection from the carrier's branch, and whether unloading equipment such as a forklift or crane is available, the calculation will be more accurate. Details are explained in the delivery and shipping terms. For a large-frame example, see the 55 kW 1500 rpm DRG-250M-4 model; for other powers, browse the shop listing.
