Yes. You can collect your order yourself from the warehouse in Buca, Izmir, by making an appointment; with this option there is no shipping charge. The collection time is agreed with you once the payment has been matched and the motor has been prepared.

Why is an appointment needed?

If you arrive unannounced, the motor may not yet be prepared for dispatch, the loading equipment may be busy with another job, or the person handing it over may be out on site. With an appointment, the packaging, documents and loading arrangements are prepared in advance, so there is no waiting. The estimated dispatch date given in the order confirmation is the starting point for the appointment.

Checklist before you come

  • Order code and payment receipt
  • Name of the person collecting; if someone else is coming, notify this in writing in advance
  • A vehicle suited to the motor's weight; a van or lorry for large frames
  • Load straps and chocks, so the motor does not slide inside the vehicle

Loading heavy motors

Small aluminium frame motors can be carried by hand; with cast iron frames, the weight rises quickly. The lifting eye on the frame is designed for the motor's own weight only and must not be used to lift an assembly the motor is attached to. Discussing the loading method when booking the appointment avoids surprises.

Checks at handover

Before putting the motor in the vehicle, visually check the packaging, frame, fan cover and terminal box, and make sure the nameplate data match the order. Transport of the motor after it leaves the warehouse is the buyer's responsibility.
