Why 22 kW Is Chosen
22 kW strikes an ideal balance for medium-scale applications where smaller ratings fall short but very large motors are unnecessary. Medium centrifugal pumps, screw compressors, mixers and conveyor drives are typical uses for this rating. The 4-pole, 1500 rpm version is the most common choice.

On a continuously running line, a stalled motor means lost production. Class F insulation, IP55 protection and quality bearing selection let the 22 kW motor run safely with long maintenance intervals. The cast iron frame damps vibration and reduces the risk of failure.
Speed and Mounting Options
The 22 kW motor comes in 2, 4 and 6-pole options at 3000, 1500 and 1000 rpm on a 50 Hz supply. B3 foot-mounted, B5 flange-mounted and B14 face-mounted types let the motor fit directly onto existing gearbox and pump arrangements.
