Electric motors are not sold at a single list price: the figure moves with the rating, the speed, the mounting and the class on the plate. A price list is therefore read across four columns rather than down one.

How a Price List Is Organised

Ratings are grouped by power and then split by speed, because the same kW at a lower speed needs a larger frame and costs more. Within one line, mounting and efficiency class produce the remaining spread. Reading only the first column of such a list is how the wrong motor gets ordered.
