A low-kW IE3 electric motor is a high-efficiency drive solution for small pumps, fans, gearboxes and automation machinery. Why IE3 at Low kW?

Even if a small motor's hourly consumption looks low, the sum of dozens of small motors running continuously is a serious load on the plant. The IE3 Premium efficiency class cuts losses in these motors, lowering both heat and annual consumption noticeably.

Typical Applications

IE3 motors in the 0.55–7.5 kW range serve dosing pumps, small fans, conveyor drives, and packaging and food machinery. 4-pole 1500 rpm is usually preferred; where lower speed is needed, a 6-pole 1000 rpm option is also available.

Durability at Low Power

Even at low kW, the motor runs safely against dust and moisture with Class F insulation and IP55 protection. The cast iron or aluminium frame option is chosen according to the application's severity and ambient conditions. The right choice gives long life even in a small motor.
