The DRG Motor IE4 range consists of three-phase induction motors that meet the Super Premium efficiency class under the IEC 60034-30-1 standard. This range is built to lower energy costs in continuously running plants and to deliver a longer service life through reduced operating temperature.

IE4 Super Premium Efficiency

By cutting losses even further than IE3, IE4 transfers a larger share of the power drawn from the grid to the shaft. This class stands out in pumps, fans, compressors and conveyors that turn for long daily hours; the higher the consumption, the more pronounced the benefit of the efficiency class.

Construction of the DRG IE4 Motor

DRG IE4 motors are built with a cast iron frame, IP55 protection and Class F insulation, and are suited to S1 continuous duty. On a 50 Hz supply they run at 3000 rpm with 2 poles, 1500 rpm with 4 poles and 1000 rpm with 6 poles. With B3 foot, B5 flange and B14 face mounting options, they adapt to different machine designs.

Use with a Variable Frequency Drive

When paired with a variable frequency drive, IE4 motors maintain their efficiency under variable load and limit inrush current. In variable-flow systems such as pumps and fans, this combination delivers clear energy savings over fixed-speed operation, keeping the motor within its most efficient speed band.

IE4 Supply from Izmir

With its Izmir-based manufacturing, DRG Motor supplies IE4 motors from 0.55 to 355 kW at 400 V / 50 Hz. Once the power, speed and mounting type of your requirement are clear, the right model is identified quickly; spare parts and technical support come uninterrupted from the same source.
