Long service life in an AC electric motor comes not from a single feature but from winding insulation, bearing choice, frame material and cooling working together. İzmir-based DRG Motor builds three-phase asynchronous motors with this balance in mind, so they keep turning trouble-free for years in continuous industrial duty.

What Determines Motor Life

A motor's life is usually limited by how long the winding insulation withstands heat. Class F insulation and IP55 protection guard the winding against both excess heat and dust and moisture. Selecting bearings with the right preload and lubrication lets the shaft turn without vibration, which extends the life of both the bearings and the winding.

What the Cast Iron Frame Adds

Although a cast iron housing is heavier than aluminium, it damps vibration better and spreads heat across its surface to keep winding temperature low. In plant motors that run continuously under heavy load, this stability is the main reason the motor holds its efficiency and quiet running over the years.

Suited to Continuous Operation

Industrial lines run on the S1 continuous duty cycle, turning without pause throughout a shift. DRG AC motors are designed for this cycle on a 400 V / 50 Hz supply with 2-, 4- and 6-pole options (3000/1500/1000 rpm); with the right pole and power chosen, the motor works at its rated point with minimal wear.

DRG Motor in İzmir

Within İzmir's dense industrial fabric, DRG Motor supplies long-lasting AC motors from 0.55 to 355 kW with B3/B5/B14 mounting options. Once you share your running hours, load and ambient conditions, we settle on the right motor to last for years together.
