Efficient electric motors in the low-kW range are designed for applications that need small power but where efficiency still matters. Even at low power, a high efficiency class provides savings over long running hours.

Use of Low-kW Motors

Small pumps, fans, dosing and mixing units, automation equipment and light machine drives run on low-kW motors. The power range is usually between 0.12 kW and 5.5 kW.

Why Efficiency Matters at Low Power

In plants where many small motors run together, a small efficiency gain in each motor creates significant total savings. An IE3 or higher efficiency class is therefore valuable even at low kW.

Housing and Protection

At low power an aluminum housing offers light weight and cost advantages; IP55 protection and class F insulation are safe in continuous operation. B3/B5/B14 mounting options are available.
