The DRG Motor 15 kW 3000 RPM Next-Generation Electric Motor is designed for high-speed industrial applications, offering superior performance and durability. These motors are widely used in fan systems, water pumps, medium-scale conveyor lines, packaging machinery, compressors, and various industrial equipment. The 3000 RPM high-speed design ensures stable, quiet, and efficient operation even under sudden load variations.

Manufactured for S1 continuous duty, this motor maintains consistent performance over long operational cycles without loss. Designed for IE3, IE4, and IE5 energy efficiency classes, it delivers significant long-term energy savings, supporting sustainable industrial operations.

Structural Design and Durability Features

The motor body is made of GG20/GG25 cast iron, providing high resistance to impact, vibration, and harsh operating conditions. Optimized cooling fins maintain temperature balance, ensuring consistent high-performance operation over extended periods.

Windings are made from 100% pure electrolytic copper and vacuum impregnated for long-lasting insulation against heat, moisture, and vibration. The rotor cage is built from special alloy bars for efficient torque transfer. SKF / C&U bearings are greased with high-temperature grease for long-term reliability. Double-lip seals protect against dust, water, and contaminants. The electrostatic powder coating is resistant to chemicals and environmental effects. The IP55 protection rating allows operation in challenging industrial conditions.

Performance, Torque, and Efficiency

The 15 kW 3000 RPM motor produces stable torque at high speeds with minimal vibration and quiet operation. Rotor balance is optimized to G 2.5 standards, and vibration levels are ≤1.8 mm/s (ISO 10816). Maximum winding temperature is 110°C, maximum bearing temperature is 80°C. Optional PTC/PT100 thermal sensors can be integrated.
